To ensure the safety of you and your passengers the windscreen has to be properly bonded to the vehicle and sufficiently cured before you drive away, otherwise heavy braking, bumpy driving or vibration could cause the screen to leak or dislodge and not fit properly. If a non-bonded piece of glass is fitted e.g. door glass, you can drive it straight away. Our fitter will advise you on the safe drive away times when he’s with you.
